My story: A pivot.
I began my marketing and communications journey as a photographer. Working with various studios in Seattle, I did projects with companies like Alaska Airlines, Costco, and Microsoft. While I enjoyed working with companies that sell products, I began sensing a pull to use my experience to effect positive change in the world.
So, I pivoted, and for the past decade, I’ve taken on nonprofit communications leadership roles, working with executive leaders to discover, craft, and amplify their message. I’ve had the privilege to lead communications efforts for nonprofit work happening on five continents, including traveling the world to capture the extraordinary work being done.

In all of my travels and years of marketing and photography experience, I’ve come to find that nonprofits and businesses often struggle to clearly define who they are and what they do best. Those that do are more effective at reaching their audience, maximizing their impact, and reaching their goals sooner. So, now I’ve dedicated myself to work side-by-side with organizations of all shapes and sizes that are committed to offering a product or service for the common good. I truly enjoy helping organizations increase their impact and amplifying their message.

Step 1: Understand your brand.
I’ll take time to learn about your organization: who you are, what you do, and why you do it. As the conversation unfolds, we’ll get crystal clear on your story and the best way to share what you offer. .

Step 2: Tell your story.
Next, we’ll capture your story through images. You’ll select the time and place for the photo session(s), and we’ll be there to capture your program, product, or service in action. In addition to photos, we’ll make sure you have a plan for using them.

Step 3: Measure and refine.
